Carol Vorderman, 62, recently marked 40 years on TV. She has appeared in more than 10,000 episodes of shows like the British game show Countdown, the morning show Lorraine, The Great Celebrity Bake Off, and ITV’s This Morning.

The gorgeous blonde is not just about looks—she has brains too.

In 2014, the mother of two earned her private pilot’s license. The following year, she joined NASA’s Challenger Center for Space Science Education, where she encouraged kids to get excited about space science.

When she isn’t on TV entertaining her audiences, the former host of *Have I Got News for You* spends a lot of time at the gym, keeping her body in great shape.

“Women in their 60s weren’t raised to exercise regularly… I think as you get older, it’s important to lift weights, stretch, and do squats,” Vorderman said in an interview with *HELLO!* magazine. “If you skip it for even a few weeks, your body starts to feel stiff. Since I work in a visual industry, I have to pay more attention to how I look—more than I’d prefer.”

Recently, she posted photos from the gym, wearing a grey crop top and tight leggings that highlighted her curves.

Vorderman wrote in her caption, “Five gym sessions this week. It feels great to get back into a routine. Eating healthy, drinking lots of water, walking outside in fresh air… this is my happy place, to be honest.”

The photos showed a sweaty Carol Vorderman lifting weights and doing cable rope curls, showing off her toned body and curvy figure.

Fans were quick to praise her looks. One fan wrote, “Fountain of youth! You look so young,” while another simply called her “Supervorders.”

Others left flirty comments: “I couldn’t keep up with you, but I’d love to try,” one wrote. Another joked, “I need to watch the third video a few more times to learn the technique.”

A third person, referring to her group of “special friends,” commented: “What a great way to spend the weekend—with a special friend.”

Her post came shortly after Dermot O’Leary, her co-host on *This Morning*, joked about her love life.

Vorderman, who wasn’t on the show that day, became the target of O’Leary’s playful teasing. The 50-year-old comedian, known for his time on *The X Factor UK*, couldn’t resist making a joke about her.

His co-host, Alison Hammond, couldn’t stop laughing when Dermot O’Leary made a well-timed joke about Carol Vorderman’s “10-year-long, no-strings-attached relationships with several men, whom she calls her ‘special friends.’”

They were inviting viewers to call in and chat with Hagan Fox, an astrologer who reads the stars to predict the future. One woman called in, saying she was dating three men and needed advice on her “love square.”

Giggling, Hammond asked, “Did you say love square?”

Dermot quickly added, “You wouldn’t happen to be Carol Vorderman, would you?”

Vorderman, the former host of *Loose Women*, is very open about her personal life. In a previous interview, she shared that her relationships with different men work well for her because she doesn’t want to fall in love.

Carol Vorderman has been single since her split from journalist Des Kelly in 2007. She was married twice before: first to Christopher Mather (1985-1986) and then to Patrick King, the father of her two children (1990-2000). Vorderman says she enjoys the freedom and independence of being single.

“I don’t want to get married again or live with a man,” she shared. “I don’t want to be looking after someone all the time. It’s time to challenge this idea that one person should meet all your needs. That’s just exhausting.”

Vorderman, who says she’s not a jealous person, explained that her partners are all single men who are also free to date others. “There’s no harm being done. It’s a happy and healthy way to live,” she said.

“They don’t know each other, but they know about the situation. It’s an honest relationship,” she added, speaking about the five men she calls her “special friends.” “One of them has been a friend for 11 years, another for seven. My kids [Katie, 31, and Cameron, 25] know most of them.”

To show how much she loves being single, Carol Vorderman posted a fun video of herself lip-syncing and dancing to the song “It’s Raining Men.”

Fans loved her dance moves and filled the comments with praise. One wrote, “Carol, that was absolutely brilliant! Great dance moves!” Another joked, “The Vord has defeated the Borg. Resistance is futile.” Someone else simply commented, “What a gorgeous woman.”

Carol Vorderman clearly puts a lot of effort into her workouts, and we admire her for staying true to herself and her unique relationships!
