Elon Musk breaks silence after Trump Epstein claim

Elon Musk has walked back his explosive claims about Donald Trump just days after publicly attacking him. Once seen as close allies, especially after Trump appointed Musk head of the Department of Government Efficiency, their relationship has dramatically unraveled.

The pair had frequently appeared together, with Trump even publicly promoting Tesla during tough times.

But after Musk stepped down from his advisory role in late May, things quickly soured.

Shortly after his departure, Musk blasted Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” as a “disgusting abomination” and then dropped a bombshell claim on social media: “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files.”

He offered no proof and followed up with a cryptic message: “The truth will come out.” Facing backlash, Musk deleted the posts and issued a statement on June 11 admitting he had “gone too far.” Trump responded bluntly, saying their relationship is likely over: “I have no intention of speaking to him.” The fallout marks a dramatic shift in one of the most high-profile political-tech alliances in recent years.
