Meri Brown has expressed frustration over being left in the dark about Kody Brown’s intentions for their shared property. In the Jan. 19 episode of Sister Wives, Meri shared a shocking revelation about her ex-husband’s view on dividing the Flagstaff, Arizona property, Coyote Pass. According to Meri, Kody believes her smaller family size means she isn’t entitled to an equal share.
Sitting with her best friend, Jenn Sullivan, on the porch of her home in Parowan, Utah, Meri opened up about her concerns. The two discussed an email Meri had sent to Kody, hoping to start a conversation about the property’s future.
“You sent that email to everyone, saying, ‘Let’s talk about the property and set a date,’” Jenn recalled, prompting Meri to explain her side.
“I gave a timeline of about a week and a half to start the discussion,” Meri explained. “Janelle responded, saying she was ready to talk. But Kody’s response was, ‘I’ve already been talking to all the right people.’”
Jenn, clearly exasperated, replied, “But you are the right people!”
“That’s exactly what I told him,” Meri said. “I told him, ‘I’m the right people.’ But honestly, I have no idea who he’s talking to or what he’s planning. That’s all I know.”
Meri admitted she feels completely out of the loop regarding Kody’s decisions and is concerned he may already be moving forward with plans to sell the property without her knowledge. “I honestly have no clue what’s happening,” she confessed.
The candid conversation highlighted the ongoing tension between the former spouses and underscored Meri’s frustration with her lack of involvement in decisions that directly affect her.
